Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI) has partnered with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to establish a Civic and Voter Education Community Development Service (CDS) Group for corps members across Nigeria. This collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the NYSC National Headquarters. Under this initiative, corps members across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are mobilized to lead voter and civic education activities within their host communities. The program utilizes the NYSC network to deliver accurate electoral information directly to the public. By integrating these activities into the weekly CDS schedule, the partnership establishes a structured platform for youth-led civic engagement. The program focuses on reducing invalid votes, addressing misinformation, and preparing citizens for active participation in upcoming elections.
